Insurance policies available

olicies are becoming increasingly available from many local insurance brokers throughout France. Most of these will be from one of the main French insurance companies, such as April or ASFE. Other French companies are also reportedly introducing policies, (such as Pacifica, the insurance wing of Credit Agricole).

In addition, International companies and brokers have become increasingly aware of the position. Some of the policies below have been introduced at short notice in response to the new healthcare legislation. (We have identified these where known).

It is important not to assume that all policies will meet all of your needs.

The following list of insurers and brokers is taken from the Internet or from notification from readers. As such, it cannot be comprehensive and should not be taken as any form of recommendation. Nor can we confirm that the policies offered conform fully with the official government requirements.
